"You might add (on your Guertin page on the 'Net) that I'm trying to get information on Joseph Tetreault (my grandfather) who was married to Olivine Guertin in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 22, 1872. He died sometime after January 1884 and before 1886 but I have not been able to pin down exactly where or when."
"(A)près plusieurs heures de recherche, je n'ai rien trouvé sur Edouard Guertin et Malvina Larose, le lieu où ils se sont mariés, le nom de leurs père et mère, où ils sont nés."
"I am looking for evidence of Horace Napolien Guertin, (born in Chambly, Lonqueuil, Canada April 17, 1847) passing through and living in Buffalo, New York area between 1867 and 1874 before going on to the Borbonnais, Kankakee Illinois area."

"I am researching the descendents of Joseph Guertin/Genevieve LeClerc (m Jan 11, 1768, Vercheres). I am particularly, but not exclusively, interested in the family of a grandson, Alexis Guertin, born 1805. His son, Horace Napoleon, emigrated to the US and married in Illinois. I'm wondering what became of the other 10 children?!!! Hope to share information with others in this line."
"I'm researching the Guertin branch of Stanislas Guertin, born 1856 in Quebec. His son Leon moved to the U.S. and died at an early age. I'm looking for more members of this branch, but would be glad to correspond with anyone."Lineage:Louis-Paul-Francois-Joseph-Pierre-Leon-Stanislas-Leon-Bernice-Loretta
"I am working on the line of Pierre Guertin who moved to Champlain, N.Y. I have 3 children for him Francois (Francis), Oliver, and Pierre. Francois was married to Celia Vivia in Coopersville N.Y. had at least 3 children - Rosalie, Francoise, and Dennis Joseph who married Celia Fontaine. Somewhere in these generations of Guertin the names have changed to Yettaw. Dennis Joseph is burried in Clearwater Florida as Dennis Joseph Yettaw and there is a marriage record of Francois and Celia Vivia in Coopersville that shows his surname as Guertin. I understand that sound wise Guertin and Yettaw would be close. I also know that many of the Guertin's were renamed on entry to the U.S. to Yettaw, Yetter etc. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks Jon"
